Areeba is an MD candidate at the Emory University School of Medicine. She received her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and worked as a software engineer at Google before medical school. She also worked as an engineer at Abbott, Cardinal Health, and multiple startups. She is excited about innovation in medical technology, particularly machine learning and process improvement. She co-founded MedAI, an organization developing AI curricula for medical trainees. In her free time, she likes to build things, play soccer, and karaoke.
