Ethan Zhu

Ethan is a MS4 at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from University of California, San Diego in 2020 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Along his undergraduate studies, Ethan conducted research investigating the nuclear pore complex as well as reducing cancer disparities. He also led a non-profit STEM mentorship organization. In medical school, he leads multiple student admissions reform initiatives, conducts scholarly research in urology and immunology, and consulted for the NYC Free Clinic. Ethan's current interests span across leadership, healthcare innovation, life sciences, surgical instruments, and AI augmentation. In his free time, he loves cycling, weightlifting, piano, and entrepreneurship, running a side business selling car parts and accessories. When time (and location!) allows, he takes his modified BMW E36 to the racetrack!
