Shannon is a third-year medical student at the Stritch School of Medicine. Before medical school, she worked in clinical drug discovery and development with a focus on immunology and oncology. In addition to her clinical interests in medical school, she has worked as a consultant and intern for various biotech and AI startups. She has contributed to projects for Microsoft, as well as developing an AI platform trained on pediatric datasets to support drug development. She is passionate about working at the intersection of medicine, policy, and innovation. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops, swimming, traveling, and musical theatre.
